Eyelash enhancement
Time to lash out!
Eyelash extensions in Centennial
There are many reasons why eyelash enhancement is desirable, from dressing the eyes, to dealing with sparser lashes. At Invigorate Advanced Aesthetics Medical Spa in Centennial, Colorado the lash technicians take an artistic approach and tailor the lashes to each client’s needs. They can advise a suitable look based on several different styles available.
Eyelash extensions are synthetic lashes that are adhered to individual natural lashes and are used to add volume, length or curl. For the more practical client they remove the daily hassle of applying mascara or strip lashes.

Applications
There are three different styles:
- Classic lash where a single lash .15, .20 or 2.5 dimensions are used, ranging from 8mm up to 16mm in length
- Bundles of 3 are applied to a single lash. Depending on the amount of desired volume, application can be natural or extreme volume for a very full lash
- A blend of classic and volume, can be very natural or provide more volume than a classic lash set does
Who is a good candidate?

Most women are candidates especially if they want to minimize the time and mess of mascara.
How well lash extensions work depends on the quality of the client’s own lashes. If they are very thin, fine or short the extensions may not adhere. If they are too thin they will not support the new lashes for any lengthy period.
If individual lash extensions are not an option strip lashes can be a good alternative. However, it is rare for a client not to be a good candidate for extensions.
A skilled lash technician can use their expertise to determine suitable style that does not damage the integrity of the natural lash.
What products do we use?

The lash adhesive we use was chosen for its durability and ability to sustain the applied lashes.
The length of the lashes starts at 8 and goes up to 20. Typically black lashes are used but there are fun colors to play with to add a pop of color and express unique style.

FAQs
Natural lashes shed every couple of weeks allowing for new baby lashes to grow. We recommend coming in for a fill every two weeks to reset the lash line and fill in areas that have been lost. During the fill, we will also correct lash extensions that have grown out too far from the base of the lash line so we can avoid flipping.

No, the lashes will not damage your natural lashes if applied correctly. Clients are encouraged to use a lash growth serum of their choice, to feed and nourish their natural lashes as well as stimulating constant new growth.
Mascara is not needed with the extensions as they do provide a dark full look. However, as the lashes fall out toward the end of your pre-fill period, you may consider adding a little mascara to your own natural lashes to help balance them out visually. If needed, ONLY wear water-based mascara; do not wear waterproof mascara as this may damage the bond of the eyelash extensions.
It takes one hour for a natural full set and an hour and a half for a volume full set of lashes.Fills for the lashes take about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the amount of work that needs to be done.
