Dewy skin with mesotherapy
The dream for most of us is to have younger, fresher and more dewy skin. But what is dewy skin? It is skin that looks soft and so fully hydrated that it literally looks plumped up. You know? The kind of skin you get after a really good night’s sleep – healthy, firm and glowing. I know what you’re thinking getting enough sleep and lots of hydration is a lot harder than you think. Especially for many of us who live busy lives at work, or are juggling a hectic family life running around after high energy children.
Well I like to use my initiative and a little help from Mesotherapy. “Meso” meaning middle involves treating the middle layer of the skin. This is a technique that involves injecting many tiny amounts of vitamins, antioxidants, stem cells, peptides, plant extracts and PRP (platelet-rich plasma from your own blood which is rich in growth factors) into the areas of concern. Sometimes a whole cocktail of serum can be used to target specific concerns. During a Mesotherapy session I inject the entire face and ensure the nutrients stay there where they can work their magic.
The result is immediate softening of fine lines and wrinkles and that dewy look is born! That is because hydration happens first then radiance and finally the brightening glow. The longer term results of adding all those missing nutrients is collagen stimulation that leads to are rejuvenation and remodeling of the skin. This provides skin tightening, pore-shrinking benefits, improvement of scars (even from acne) and a decrease in pigmentation and dull lifeless texture issues.
I recommend 4 treatments to start with spaced between 1 and 4 weeks apart. Earlier treatments are made closer together and they stretch out as the results increase. Mesotherapy won’t add volume to the face and is not like a filler but it will tackle the texture and circulation by feeding the skin. If you want to add volume then dermal fillers used in conjunction can address both issues.
So the next time you dream about getting dewy skin, don’t dismiss it as a fantasy that can never happen, come and see me instead!
