Let’s get hair free

It’s National Hair Removal Day! So it would be wrong of us not to look at some of the best ways we have to help you celebrate it. Once upon a time removing hair was a tricky business but these days the hair removal industry has advanced with the creation of high spec lasers.

Laser hair removal is the most popular option because it is relatively quick and though uncomfortable the pain is not that bad. Second is waxing which is very fast and convenient but many waxing methods are messy and lead to ingrown hairs and lastly there is electrolysis. This method is not for the faint-hearted and is very painful especially in delicate areas such as the bikini or face area.

So let’s look a little closer. I like to use Diolaze XL because it is not like traditional lasers. It combines two wavelengths to target the melanin pigment in the hair. The energy is converted to heat which damages hair follicles and inhibits or delays hair growth. Laser energy only destroys the hair follicles that are connected to the roots and since hair grows in different stages removal will require several
treatments. But unlike other lasers it takes 4-6 sessions to become hair free vs 6-10 sessions. It also has a reduced treatment time and is powerful enough to target and treat even the most stubborn hair.

For option two we have a Chocolate wax treatment unlike other wax treatments! Here’s why I like it: it’s very gentle, the Chocolate wax heats at bearable temperatures and the texture does not become brittle on the skin. It is easy to remove without pulling too hard. It helps remove even tiny hairs leaving the skin soft and shiny in the end. Chocolate wax slows down the growth of new hairs and expands the time between wax sessions. On top of this it removes sun tan by removing dead skin cells on the surface. After this exfoliation the skin is soothed and hydrated by the wax itself. Which does indeed contain cocoa as well as almond, soy, sunflower oils as well as skin nourishing vitamins like vitamin E.
