Hello gorgeous grandma!

It’s National Gorgeous Grandma day today and as a grandmother myself, I’m thrilled about celebrating it! So I’d like to discuss aesthetic treatments for women of a certain age. I’m going to look at the beauty for women over the age of 50 (I don’t want to exclude the young grandmothers out there!)

As we get older the cellular processes of the body begin to slow down. When it comes to skin, by the age of 50 up to 50% of collagen might be lost. This is due to the reduction in hormones as well as lifestyle changes. This is not great news I know, but there are things that can be done to prolong youthful skin.

The skin isn’t the only thing to suffer, hormonal changes associated with peri-menopause or menopause can affect the metabolism and weight gain. Hair loss and thinning can occur as well as varicose veins, thread veins and age spots. My prescription for helping all women look gorgeous (including grandmas) is as follows:

Face texture and tone: IPL, CO2 fractional laser, Morpheus8 RF Microneedling to address age spots, rough texture, uneven skin tone, sagging skin, lines and wrinkles.

Face drooping and hollowness: PDO threads for lifting, Bellafill fillers for a longer term cheek, temple and jawline transformation. Kybella for eliminating jawline and chin fatty deposits is a great for reshaping the lower jaw.

Body toning and shaping: Hormonal fatty deposits can be tackled with Morpheus8 RF Microneedling, EvolveX body contouring and Semaglutide injections.

Scalp and hair: Plasma hair restoration using your own stem cells or via needle free hair stimulation method AquaFirmeXS.

Thread veins: These can occur on the face or body and are obliterated using IPL and CO2 fractional laser.

If you’re feeling a little less than glamorous then fear not, we’ve got your back.

Come in and see us at Invigorate Advanced Aesthetics in Centennial, Colorado for your plasma hair restoration, Kybella or Bellafill needs.
